Kia Stonic Comes To The Fore

The market saturation of SUV type vehicles could be considered in two ways.  Maybe you’re of the opinion that there are a whole load of them in all shapes and sizes and therefore we don’t need any more.  Kia however doesn’t agree and believes that an increased choice in the form of the Kia Stonic will make drivers very happy indeed.

Michael Cole, Chief Operating Officer of Kia Motors Europe, comments: “The Kia Stonic will be one of the most compelling new cars in this rapidly-expanding class, backed by Kia’s unique warranty, and the brand’s reputation for reliability, quality and contemporary design. As the segment expands, the Stonic looks set to become one of our best-selling cars.”

There’ll be quite a wide variety of choice when it comes to paint and roof colours, so plenty of personalisation options will exist to make the Kia Stonic truly yours.  Don’t expect a racing variant however; the engines are designed to be small, frugal and capable as opposed to performance based.  Think 1.4 MPI petrols and 1.6 diesels being the pick of the bunch.

The Kia Stonic is fitted with VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) which activates safety features including Torque Vectoring by Braking, Straight Line Stability, and Cornering Brake Control.  Also as standard is Electronic Stability Control (ESC) to offer the safest of rides.

The interior as you can see offers plenty of quality along with a variety of connectivity options to keep you engaged with your digital life.  Advanced High Strength Steel contributes to the Stonic’s solid build whilst further driver aids are available if even more active safety options are needed.

Backed by Kia’s quality promise, the car will be sold as standard with the company’s unique seven-year, 100,000 mile warranty. It goes on sale across Europe during the third quarter of 2017.
