Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to reunite with his family next season
The Italian has refused to confirm that he is staying at Stamford Bridge next season after Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio admitted he is a target for the club.
He said that he hoped Inter’s next coach would be like Conte or Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino who has also been heavily linked with the job.
Conte will bid to win the double next weekend when they face London rivals Arsenal at Wembley for what could be his last game in charge.
The Italian has spent the season living on his own in London and wants to be reunited with his family whatever happens next season.
If I will stay here in London, I want them (family) to be with me
Inter are thought to be willing to pay him around £20 million a year if he leaves Stamford Bridge with a year left to run on his deal.
Chelsea are keen to open talks about extending his deal after he completed a remarkable turn around in club fortunes this season.
But the fact that he didn’t say that he would still be at the club next season is sure to have sent the alarm bells ringing in West London.
“If I will stay here in London, I want them (family) to be with me. I am not going to stay here on my own for another year.
“I am proud Italy fans love me. Speculation over my future are normal. I am in love with Italy, I feel my country in my heart,” he said.
