Best in Travel 2020, Grottammare receives the Lonely Planet award

GROTTAMMARE – The most prestigious tourist guide in the world, Lonely Planet, has crowned the Marche region as an unmissable tourist destination for the year 2020 (Best in Travel 2020 Award).

The Marche is the only Italian reality indicated in the selection for the main 30 destinations, divided into 10 for the Nations, 10 for the Regions and 10 for the Cities.

This recognition is a very important certificate that rewards the years of work of the entire regional system which, thanks to the perseverance and determination of entrepreneurs, has managed to gain national and international attention.

It is the intention of the Marche Region to deliver a copy of the Lonely Planet recognition to each individual tour operator, with a delivery ceremony to be held during the meeting at the Kursaal Theater Hall, Kursaal Square in Grottammare on Friday 31 January starting at 15.30.
