2. Sunny, Snow-Sure Slopes

At 1,500m above sea level, with slopes going up to 3,000m, Crans-Montana is a high-altitude destination, meaning it enjoys an exceptional snow record year after year. With a wide range of runs to suit all levels of skier and snowboarder, as well as plentiful off-piste opportunities, Crans-Montana is sure to keep everyone entertained on the slopes.

Many slopes here are south-facing and so benefit from awesome Alpine sunshine throughout the day, perfect for those that like to lunch on sunny restaurant terraces or work on that goggle tan!

3. Happy Stomachs

With over 90 restaurants in Crans-Montana, you have a lot of choice when it comes to refuelling after a day on the slopes! A wide variety of international cuisines range from Lebanese and Japanese to classic Valais specialities.

No matter your budget, whether your perfect post-ski meal involves a Michelin-starred restaurant, a traditional fondue or a popular local burger joint, Crans-Montana will happily oblige.

4. Non-Skier? No Problem!

For those who may prefer to spend their winter getaway off the slopes, there is a huge amount of options for non-skiers in Crans-Montana, from peaceful winter walks and relaxing hotel spas to husky sledding and outdoor ice rinks.

What’s more, incentives are available for non-skiers to eat up the mountain and soak up the incredible panoramas, with vouchers that allow the cost of your lift ticket to be taken off the bill!

Later, skiers and non-skiers alike can enjoy varied après-ski, from lively bars to sophisticated, luxury establishments.

5. Try Out Ski Touring

Ski touring offers a unique way to experience the mountains and gives experienced tourers the opportunity to enjoy previously inaccessible terrain.

However, Crans-Montana is also a top destination for any first-time ski tourers, having made great investments in their touring infrastructure in recent years.

15 marked ski touring trails on the “front side” of the mountain here provide skiers with a safe and controlled way to get to grips with ski touring, with entertaining routes of all different levels available.
