Take Part in Fun Water Activities

Swimming and Snorkeling

Jump right into the crystal clear waters at Ginnie Springs. With seven different springs to explore, you can easily spend the whole day looking swimming and snorkeling. See how many species of wildlife you encounter below the surface of the water. In the summer and early fall, you can navigate your way through the Santa Fe River with snorkeling gear! With goggles and fins, you may be able to spot large gar, mullet, catfish, turtles, bass and more.

Tubing the Santa Fe River

If you’re feeling a little lazy, grab a tube and float down the Santa Fe River! This relaxing water activity is an easy-going experience and provides stunning views of the park. Embark on your journey from Devil’s Spring and exit at Twin Spring.

Rent a Canoe, Kayak, or Stand Up Paddle Board

Get in touch with your adventurous side and rent (or bring your own) canoe, kayak, or stand up paddle board. Paddle your way through the Santa Fe River and take in the beautiful natural scenes that surround you.

Many refer to Ginnie Springs as the “world’s favorite freshwater dive.” Diving these waters is one of the best things to do in High Springs, Fl. Admire the beautiful underwater flora and fauna. The crystal clear waters allow for phenomenal views. Certified open-water divers and cave divers will have various opportunities to explore the magical world that thrives below the surface. There are four diveable springs and divers often like to explore the Santa Fe River as well. You have to check out the following:

Admission Fees

Admission fees vary depending on age and whether or not you’re scuba diving. Be sure to check their website for pricing in advance. You can even sign the admission waiver before arrival!
