This Valentine’s Day, show your love—both for each other and for haute horlogerie—with these his and hers timepieces

His: The signature minimalist aesthetic of Baume’s Iconic Series makes it a versatile accessory, and it’s now completely customisable. The Restrained matte black version is ideal for him.

Hers: The Iconic Series offers a range of interchangeable straps created with upcycled or recycled fabric, from cork and cotton to linen and alcantara. We find the red strap a perfect match with the red-gold case.

His: The Villeret Quantième Perpetual 8 Days watch will surely make him swoon. It features a perpetual calendar and moonphase and is housed in a steel case paired with a leather strap.

Hers: This Villeret Quantième Phases de Lune with a diamond-set bezel and mesh steel bracelet is a beautiful and technical watch that provides the date and phases of the moon.

His: A timepiece that looks both vintage and futuristic, Bovet’s 19Thirty is inspired by the aesthetics of a 1930s “easel” chronometer pocket watch, which was among the last pocket watches made by the brand.

Hers: The dial of the Château de Môtiers 40 features a miniature painting of a butterfly that’s layered with luminescent material so that it glows in the dark.

His: The Navitimer Aviator 8 B01 Chronograph 43 Boutique Edition comes with a silver and anthracite dial, and its movement can be appreciated via a transparent sapphire case back.

Hers: The Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 is a sporty watch designed with a woman in mind, specifically one with a small wrist. This version comes with an elegant red-gold bezel paired with a brown alligator strap.

His: The Cartier Privé Tonneau is an elegant piece with a curved case that follows the shape of the wrist and stays true to the original model launched in 1906. This large model is made in platinum and matched with a grey alligator leather strap.

Hers: Emblazoned with a blue cabochon sapphire, the new Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch comes in a pink-gold case with a diamond-set bezel framing a silvered guilloche lacquered opaline dial.

His: The diamond-set 34x55mm barrel-shaped case in pink gold gives the Golden Bridge Watch a unique glimmer, with the baguette movement visible through anti-reflective double sapphire crystal.

Hers: Miss Golden Bridge is a smaller version for the ladies, which comes in a 21x43mm pink-gold case set with 245 diamonds totalling 1.28 carats.

His: Forged from sapphire, the Big Bang Sapphire Tourbillon’s skeleton movement is a pièce de résistance when it comes to the technical and aesthetic use of sapphire. Only 99 pieces will be available.

Hers: The pink and sky-blue shades of the Big Bang One Click Sapphire 39mm are created by fusing aluminium oxide and titanium oxide; a sapphire shade is available, too. A cool 42 diamonds are the cherry on top.

Louis Vuitton

His: The Tambour Chronographe Automatique’s matte black background is highlighted with pink-gold accents and a golden V for the Louis Vuitton motif at 12 o’clock.

Hers: The quartz Tambour, available in 28, 34 and 39.5mm, is adorned with the brand’s monogram ower motif in the centre and hour markers accented with diamonds.

His: The Star Legacy Automatic Date features an automatic movement housed in a polished stainless steel case with a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

Hers: Taking pride of place at the centre of the Star Legacy ladies timepiece is the brand’s signature exploding star guilloche pattern, with a second, smaller one ringed by diamonds for the seconds at 6 o’clock.

His: Joining the maison’s GMT- Master II line is a new Oystersteel version with redesigned lugs and sides, a 24-hour graduated Cerachrom insert in red and blue ceramic, and a give- link Jubilee bracelet.

Hers: The new generation of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 has redesigned case sides and lugs, and the case comes in white, yellow or Everose Gold with the option of a diamond-set bezel.

Romain Gauthier

His: The Insight Micro-Rotor features a beautifully hand-finished movement with a bidirectional micro-rotor made from solid 22K gold. It boasts an 80-hour power reserve, thanks to its double mainspring barrel.

Hers: The Insight Micro-Rotor Lady, Romain Gauthier’s first luxury watch for ladies, features an automatic movement with a diamond-set micro-rotor and a Tahitian mother-of- pearl dial. This sure isn’t your run-of-the-mill ladies timepiece.
